TRM costs: 2022 review and 2023 outlook
The year 2022 was marked by unprecedented inflation in costs, both in terms of its generalization and its scale. Driver personnel costs, the main cost component of heavy goods vehicles, are increasing with, on the one hand, successive revaluations of conventional minimums (salary and travel allowances) and, on the other hand, tension in the labor market. Energy and raw material prices recorded record inflation in 2022, impacting not only fuel prices, but also those of equipment, spare parts, AdBlue, tires and other consumables. (Sources CNR)
